Taking photos is only just the beginning of my creative process. Making something special, unique, and one of a kind is where I find the joy in my art.
The creation of my mixed media and photographic art starts with an image and an idea. By digitaling combining my original photos with different textures and overlays I am giving the viewer a fresh and unique way of looking at the world. My “Off the Wall” series is just the beginning of my mixed media fine art. The painted and textured wood panel compliments and enhances the image and creates a one of a kind piece of art.
Most artists work with one subject or process, but I have found by combining my love of nature with my love of art, I can bring the outside inside and make truly beautiful and inspiring works of art.
